Rick eaton
folder - cowboy

The blade is made from Damascus Steel with a prominent pattern, which is likely a "ladder pattern". There is a "step-down" design on the handle front where it meets the blade. This design makes the folder look very much like a fixed blade when open, a signature style of Eaton's.

The handle features large inlays of shell. Judging by its rich colors and luster, it is most likely
high-quality shell, adding a splash of iridescent splendor to the composition.

The entire metal frame is covered in deep relief engraving, executed in a classical scrollwork style. Eaton masterfully integrates gold inlay,  dramatically enhancing the piece's sense of luxury. Within the engraving, the name of Rick Eaton and a figure on horseback, a cowboy is clearly visible.

The blade has a recurve shape, giving it lines that are both aggressive and beautiful. The spine of the blade may feature fullers, further enhancing its three-dimensional quality.

Eaton's folders can be opened one-handed, and the opening mechanism is hidden when the blade is deployed for a "cleaner look."
