He is an artist and a knifemaker, inspired by everything that surrounds him—his environment, culture, and family. He loves the combination of mystery and space in literature, music, and film. Everything he creates is handmade, from the initial sketch to the finished knife, and he utilizes various techniques, including sand casting and lost-wax casting. He enjoys detailed work and often changes his designs and materials during the production process. He has been active in the arts since 1975, when he began oil painting, and since 1980, he has dedicated himself to carving and restoring woodcarvings. He has exhibited his work in Plzeň and Mariánské Lázně.
He follows his own path, and before starting any project, he spends a great deal of time thinking and sketching. The creative process is long and meticulous; he often lets his designs rest for months or even years.
His work frequently features motifs from nature, animals, and insects, but also fantastical elements such as "Space Legend," "Nightfall," and "Ikarus." He is inspired by various artists and knifemakers, but the one who influenced him the most was his teacher, who initiated him into the craft.
