He was born in Turin in 1972 and attended a professional school for precision engineering at 14, specializing in mechanical processing. After school, he worked as a toolmaker, focusing on construction, installation, and EDM machining. He has been with the same company for 23 years.Alongside his job, he built a shop to develop projects and learn new techniques. In 2007, he met master knife maker Charlie Bennica through mutual friends, and they formed a strong friendship that continues today. Bennica taught him a lot, inspiring him to enter the world of artistic knives.
In 2012, after a knife show in Bologna, he was invited to the ECCKS in New York. Upon returning to Italy, he quit his job to become a full-time knife maker. The world of collectible knives excites him, allowing him to express his imagination freely, both artistically and technically. He enjoys innovating and thinking outside the box, seeking new mechanical solutions and learning from masters and current trends.
When designing a new knife, he draws inspiration from nature, colors, animal shapes, aircraft lines, watches, and the works of renowned knife makers. During the making phase, he strives to stay true to his vision, ensuring he builds exactly what he imagined without shortcuts. Fully dedicating himself to knife making brings him satisfaction and fulfillment. He has traveled to new countries, made friends, and discovered new passions. Although he just started, he feels he’s found his path and looks forward to what lies ahead.
